April: Interdependence
April 28, Beltane, Nicollette Chasse & Jenn Katon
Learn about Beltane and how it is celebrated and then we will all have fun
dancing and weaving the ribbons of the Maypole. We encourage you all to wear red and white, or any other fire color, flower crowns … and your dancing shoes!
Please bring a picnic lunch for you and your family, a blanket, chairs, and join us for this fun, family celebration.
May: The Gift of Pluralism
Sunday, May 5 “Cinco de Mayo” Rev Arthur Lavoie
Today we honor a Mexican cultural celebration and examine our understanding of the holidays and holydays of other cultures and tradition. We have become a much more pluralistic society, yet we don’t know much about the people we now interact with and the cultures they have come from.
Sunday, May 12 “Fierce Love” Rev Arthur Lavoie
Mothers, Parents, and other caretakes often develop a fierce kind of love for their children. This fierce love can help us all become loving warriors for the care and protection of children and youth, and a deep understanding and commitment to their self-actualization.
Due to heating issues in the Meetinghouse, we are continuing services in Brewster Chapel for the time being.
